My Safe Haven, by TheGirlThatCantBetTouched Subscribe to rss feed for TheGirlThatCantBetTouched

Trees bow at the lake,
Leaves dance in the breeze,
I don’t want to wake,
Here I feel at ease.

Water so pure it's breathtaking
Grass hugs the ground
It's so beautiful I'm shaking,
I'm proud of what I've found.

Light shines down on the retreat,
Doves water ski on the water unharmed,
I am now fully complete,
Now I can be disarmed.

The sun dies and bleeds into the sky,
The night approaches calm and warm,
I never want to wave goodbye,
Now's my time to reform.

The night air is serene,
A breeze massages the spine,
For surely this must be a dream,
This place is finally mine.
