Blind, by crazyanimelover Subscribe to rss feed for crazyanimelover

There you are again,
wallowing.
I tried to help you,
you refused to listen.
There I go again,
trying...
I show you a stream,
glistening in the sun.
All you can see is the cold water,
thinking of drowning.
I show you a swing,
hanging from the willow.
All you see is the rope,
thinking about a noose.
I show you a canyon,
and the eagle soaring above.
All you see is the height,
thinking of jumping.
I show you myself,
hand outstretched to help.
All you see is a brick wall,
not even thinking your blind.
I grab your hand,
force you to run.
All you can do is stumble,
start to fall behind.
I call for you,
desperate for you to try.
All you can do is look ahead,
thinking you would like to join...
I stand still,
waiting for you.
All you can do is catch your breath,
thinking of catching up...
I show you a nest,
the birds chirping.
All you can do is listen,
smiling at the tune.

Very descriptive, and to me sounds symbolic...believe it!
