little by little
you work away the
varnish
my latex coating
keeping in the rain.

my little world
of everything black
of hurt and pain.

slowly, you get in
you rub a hole
through the surface
letting teh sun shine in.

atfirst, the light burns
and i hid behind
my music
my friends
my latex protected life.

but soon
the clouds which
rained down anvils were
all gone,
suddenly
i saw.

i told you
i understand
and that i want you there
you said that's what i
want you to say
do you mean it?
and i said, i'll prove
each adn everyday.

so then
you sewed it back up
and left me in my world.

i never take this bracelet off,
i never will
what would jesus do?
in my mind i instill.

i found faith
more like he found me
and now
in my gloom
inside
i feel happy.

you said
do as i teach
remember dearest
act as you preach.
so here i am now
under a new leaf
learning a new life.

still not
a bible thumper
im starting to understand
what faith is,
im starting to understand
just what it is
i need to do.

xoxo

I like this very much. I completely understand, and some of what I write is similiar. Keep your faith sweetheart, and never let anyone tell you that he's not real.
