"I'm fine," was all you said,
And now I look your gone and dead,
You always had a smile that brightened your face,
No other guy could take your place,
You'd ensure you'd devour every meal,
We's continually ask, "how do you feel?"
You made us laugh until we couldn't breathe,
You made us panic when you began to heave,
The infestation was killing you slowly,
You laughed when you found out my brother played goalie,
You told us a story of how it it reminded you of yourself,
While we sat and listened secretly scared for your health,
You've done us so very very proud,
Even though you were extremely loud,
You started to suffer as the infection grew,
The rest of the family could see it to,
So, I'd just like to say a big thank you for all you've
done,
I'll cherish all of our memories, all of our fun,
Still the pain you went through, you didn't deserve,
So there's a seat here for you that we'll always reserve,
In case you ever decide to return,
But until then there'll be a presence I'll deeply yearn.
