I knew i would run into you again, by jak Subscribe to rss feed for jak

Magic treads at the edge of reality
day after day we spend realizing it doesn't exist
we spend the days dreaming of a life we wish we had
Of people we wish we had
Of eyes we hope to look into again
Of moments we brush off in the morning,
convinced they will never come

Today I was reminded again that magic
likes us

I saw you and I didn't even hesitate for a minute
because I am not afraid of the abnormal... of magic
Forgive me, for I have not presented myself in the
best way last time, maybe even this time.
But I did what I did that night because I wanted
you to remember me, even though I took the steepest way
but I knew winning you would not be an easy feat

I know you are surrounded by these
base creatures called "men", whose arms just aren't
long enough to reach your depths.
I knew it was you
You're a muse
A trapped angel
A caged demon
A fairy born in the wrong time
