All too soon, by SecretsInHerHeart Subscribe to rss feed for SecretsInHerHeart

She started as a seed and bloomed too soon, but she
blossomed and grew into a beautiful flower. All too soon
that beautiful, fully blossomed flower was wilting and dead.

A caterpillar she was no more. She went into her cocoon
and came out a tiny little butterfly, she learned to fly on
her own, and fly she did, she flew away, out of reach and
out of sight.

The tiny hand that I once held, will never be placed in
mine again.

The flower that blossomed and bloomed, the caterpillar
that became a butterfly and flew, the tiny hand that I once
held in my own, are all gone. Never will they be again.

She flew away too soon; she flew away too fast, right
before our very eyes our little butterfly was flying high
above us. Our butterfly will never return. Life will not be
the same, but we must go on. We must continue to live our
lives, and we will live them to the fullest in honor of
Addie, our precious little butterfly that was taken all too
soon! I miss you terribly these days Addie! I will NEVER
forget you!
