Alphonzo Pittman ( R.I.P Phonzo), by Ky Moet Subscribe to rss feed for Ky Moet

you were like an older brother to me
An older brother i never had
you wee always there to guide me
i never told anyone about you
but it's clear to see everyone already knew you
when your friends saw me
they always knew me as ya lil' sister
you were my outlet
i loved you like you loved me
somehow god didn't see it
he took you away and i never said good bye
it was always "see you later"
we talked like we were gonna see each other again
last time i saw you we had a serous talk
but we were also laughing and playin' around after
you told me the streets was nothing to play around with
i took your word for granted
we had dreams together
remember?
you were gonna play basketball or rap
I was gonna be a designer and a poet
i was gonna help you write and design your outfits
that's one thing we promised to each other
I will always remember looking in to your hazel eyes and
sayn'
"Phonzo i promise i'm gonna make it and keep myself out of
the streets for you and for myself"
you promised me the same
now you're gone
it's too soon
but i will never forget you
you were my big brother
your friends knew better thank to bother me
all because you were always there 4 me by my side
