A Whimsical Tribute to Isaac Asimov

By Rohn •
Said Isaac to all who gave ear,
A BEM told me once over beer:
"Whenever you speak
Purple passages streak,
As mauve has the wavelength I hear."

Isaac Asimov delighted in puns and limericks. One of my most precious possessions is a humorous rejection slip from the good doctor. Note that a "purple passage" is defined as one full of ornate and flowery language.
