Alone., by Cassandra Subscribe to rss feed for Cassandra

In the night i stand by myself in the dark
the waterfall falling from my eyes
the thunder shaking my body like a furious man
the lighting blinding me like the sun
the rain slashing my body like a spiked whip
everybody left me in the shadows
I bow down and pray for help
but i stop, thinking im not even worthy of the lord
if no one else wanted me, why would he?
i look at the blood filled veins on my shaking wrists,
and look for something sharp
right then and there the storm goes and the sun comes out
somebody takes my hand and sees the wounds,
my body floats to the other side, an angel saved my soul,
now forever I will never be alone again.
