Peace, by Origin Subscribe to rss feed for Origin

Steal shanks I compress my breath as I walk by these
concrete tanks. Takes away my concentration as my life’s
at stake.
I stand for the peace as the crease in my brain grows
tight.
While I try to tell wrong from right,
A young woman loses her life.
Today’s kids are left a bliss. But I stop in my tracks and
wonder.

If life was easy it would be a whore. Like the way main
stream listeners adore.
But life's a bitch and everything changes.
Life's a bitch and there's nothing to remain with.
Why can't I be like the man that inspires
Why must I be the one that screams "Liars!"
I'm wired, tired of disbelieving.
might as well go back to dreaming.
Sleeping, I'm reawakened by a kid screaming,
crying,dying in the street.
I'm thrust down to the ground as I feel my red streaks.

War,is just a polite word for genocide
It's homicide against humanity.
The innocent will be the casualty.
I'm slowly loosing the right to breathe
Before I Draw my last breaths, I utter the word "peace".
