An Invitation To Dinner, by Knight Dallison Subscribe to rss feed for Knight Dallison

I saw a little snail
Brian was his name
He told me he liked cabbages
And to eat many was his aim

He has a friend called Kenny
A caterpillar, i have no doubts
Who, i have heard tell
Likes his brussel sprouts

Then there's his friend Wally
A worm by no other name
Who so loves his carrots
To deprive him would be a shame

Now i see 'Grubby' Grub
The potato eater extraordinaire
Who likes to be around the theatre
And wants to be a commissionaire

Now take a peek over the hedge
There's Sid Snake, all forlorn
The poor old little slitherer
Can't get to Tesco's for his quorn

So now i'm off to get him some
And i've asked the others to my house too
I think we'll have a cracking sunday dinner
If they bring their stuff too
