My Visit From God, by Convalescence Subscribe to rss feed for Convalescence

I am standing here,
in the rain,
and I can hardly get past
all of that pain.

I am standing here,
and I'm all alone.
I begin to cry,
and for once, my tears are shone.

I am standing here,
and the darkness surrounds.
I feel no hope,
and stand on icy ground.

I stand here
and I ask why.
I refuse;
My love won't die.

I am standing here,
in frozen grass.
I'm dizzy now.
I fall at last.

I am laying here,
and see the sky,
then see his face,
and question why.

I talk to him,
and loose my pain.
It begins to pour,
as I stand... in the rain.
