We cannot be.
What do you see?

You are the dusk,
and I am the dawn.
You drive your slaves,
and I'm not your pawn.

You are dark blue,
and I am bright red.
You may die soon,
but I have life left.

You are the ground,
and I am the sky.
You're where they stand,
and I'm how they fly.

You go left,
and I go right.
Together-We're not,
though you do what you might.

You are the dark,
and I am the light.
We cannot be,
'Cause it just isn't right.

I really liked this poem. I felt like I was actually there at one time in my life.
