I Hope It's Enough, by Convalescence Subscribe to rss feed for Convalescence

We'll never be old and walk together in the sand.
Only for so long can you dearly hold my hand.
We'll always say our farewells, and hope it's not our last.
I think of this, and remember all we have had.
I hope I'll never have to say my last goodbye.
Then-if we knew-it would make us both cry.
For all things have an end, and ours may be quite near.
And this very thought is the reason for my tears.
I don't love you forever, because forever doesn't last.
I love you for eternity, and love all that we've had.
I don't cry for the end-I am sure.
I just cry because things can't last forever.
So, know that we can make it through,
and I hope it's enough that I love you.
