Emptiness
Abandoned.
Lost and alone.
Cast adrift on a sea of pain.
Promises made,
Promises broken.
A heart that will never be whole again.
Hurt.
Bitter and angry.
Thrust suddenly into a world of sorrow.
Vows made,
Vows broken.
But still I have to face tomorrow
Unwanted.
Used and deserted.
Left alone to face my fears.
Trust made,
Trust broken.
Left with nothing except my tears.
