Vows From The Heart, by angela kay zea Subscribe to rss feed for angela kay zea

(husband's name), I thank God for sending you into my life.
It is said that from the beginning even before we were sewn
into our mothers womb that God would send the husband He
specially created just for us, the future wives, and only at
the time in our lives when it was meant to be just at the
perfect time and place. God made our paths cross so that we
could bring strength to each others weakness, bring joy to
each others sorrow and be sunshine to each other after the
rain, and in perfect love after the storms to create our own
rainbow of colors, warmth, love and compassion.

Just as God has his Angels to mount up like eagles wings, we
now ask you our friends and family to rise as we exchange
our vows and deep felt emotions to each other, because
everything in life that is important should be raised up.

I _____ (bride) take you _____ (husband's name) to be my
husband, my best friend, my lover and father of my children
and to live together with God as our leader and shepard of
our lives. _____ (husband's name) I will love you, comfort
you, honor and keep only you in sickness and in health, for
richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in
joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon you my heart's
deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keeping myself only
unto you as long as we both shall live.

In times of coldness I will snuggle with you and bring you
warmth and comfort. In times of sadness I will cry with you
and share your pain, I will give you a shoulder to cry on
and I will wipe your tears from your face. In times of
financial struggle I will remind you that wealth and
richness are having each other, loving each other and going
through life with each other. In times of quarrels I will
not turn my back on you or throw you out of the house, but I
will give you your space and I will make the couch your
temporary resting place. In times of love I will hold you
close and I will be your lover and I will give to you my
heart, my mind, my soul and my body. If it is written in
the book, I shall give you a child, a child we would make
together, half of you and half of me. If you were in harm's
way I would gladly lay down my life so that you would be
spared all harm and tragedy. In the end when God called you
home I would be right by your side holding your hand as you
dance with the Angel and as you drew your last breath I
would look into your eyes as your Angel takes you to be with
God where you will see the place God has made for you and
I.

So with this ring, I ____ (brides name)do thee wed _____ you
(husband's name) on this day of beauty and peace and love in
front of God, friends and family and our minister. I love
you with all my heart from the beginning to then end. So it
is said with a whisper in the wind, on this day I wed you my
husband, my lover, my best friend and my love will never
end.
