Stubborn Eyes, by Invisible Poet Subscribe to rss feed for Invisible Poet

Still your eyes lock upon me
looking from afar
what is it you see
why are you looking so hard

find something you will not
for i hide my secrets well
i hide everything i have sought
i have thrown them down to the hell

that boils inside my walls
i will smile nevertheless
and welcome you to my halls
i only wish i could guess

the future of us
for my most recent chance i did miss
with this knowledge its you i trust
I only wish i had not resisted the kiss

your eyes remind me
of what i cannot have
if you wish i will let you be
and be nothing more than glad
