Stop for Flashing School Bus, by Yuki Endo Subscribe to rss feed for Yuki Endo

If you're driving on street
Encounter flashing red light on School Bus or
Stop Sign has pulled out,
YOU MUST STOP AND
WAIT FOR BUS TO PULL IN SIGN or
RED FLASHING LIGHT TO BE TURNED OFF.
DON'T PASS THAT BUS.
This includes for one way street or two-ways.
If two-way street has two lanes in each direction,
Both directions must stop.
If it was two-way with five or more lanes
Or with median,
Traffic Following bus
MUST STOP.
At train crossing, if you see school bus flashing YELLOW
LIGHT,
YOU MUST APPLY YOUR BRAKE AND STOP.
School Bus needs to take time at
Railroad Crossing.
They turn off radio, engine, open door and
window, ask student to remain silent, and
LISTEN FOR TRAIN.
LOOK FOR TRAIN.
If it is not clear, you must wait.
If it is clear, school bus proceed carefully across the
track, make sure rear tires are away from track.
