Too sensible for youth, by If It Wasnt For The Broken Hearts Where Would I Be Subscribe to rss feed for If It Wasnt For The Broken Hearts Where Would I Be

You can work for the money,
And pay all your tax,
You can wait till tomorrow,
But you wont get today back,

You can tell all your lies,
And disguise the truth,
You can try to grow up,
Because you are too sensible for youth,

You can hope for the future,
And pray for the past,,
But your selfish hopes,
They will never last,

You can keep on saying you are young,
And dreading being old,
But being too sensible for youth,
Will leave your heart so cold,

You can go on in society,
And play by the rules,
But you doing what they say,
Means you look like the fool,

You can not be young,
But act as if you are old,
You are too sensible for youth,
This story has already been told.
