Poem about me & peter, by Amber Subscribe to rss feed for Amber

No, not a storybook ending,
Not the start of one either.
Not two kids who together,
Should never have been seen,
But yet were destined to be.

No kiss in the rain,
No overcoming life-changing,
Earth-shattering situations.

Yet love is what I see.
Two kids, they meet,
Each becomes a mystery.

They go on for some time,
Knowing the other is something special,
But they find it hard to be together.

No death scenes, no relation to
Romeo and Juliet,
Yet love is what I see.

He knows she’s the one,
She knows he’s the one.
No outrageous story about falling in love,
Just the truth of meeting, seeing,
Becoming interested.
Yet love is what I see.

Story book endings
Always seem nice
But you need to make your own story.

No, this is not Romeo and Juliet,
No death scenes,
But we were meant to be.
My story is just as good,
And love is what I see.
