Hi mommy,
I love you so much
I can't wait until the day
I can feel your touch.
My mind is so beautiful and free,
with these big blue eyes
through one day I will see,
I just know you can't wait to hold me.
Oh mommy,
get the doctor away,
I'm not due today!
What's he doing to me?
Why is he making me bleed?
He's killing me,
mommy help me live.
Tell me what I ever did to deserve this!
Now I'm gone,
and so are my big blue eyes,
you let the doctor make me die.
I have no eyes,
so they're nolonger big and blue,
mommy I love you,
but I guess you don't love me too.

| well what if the mother had the baby even though it was unwanted...and abused it every day of its life untill when it was old enough it killed its self....would that be better??? |

| No it wouldn't be better. They best option to take would be for the mother to have the child, and give it up for adoption, if the mother didn't want to get pregnant, the she shouldn't have had sex;-) |

| Oh..what an uneducated pleb writing a poem about something they dont have a fucking clue about. I had an abortion, and I did think about it, and I do regret it, I was in a stable relationship and using contraception but I was 17, how the hell could I raise a child?? And give it up? Aye...coz I could go through 9 months of pregnancy and then give her up, even if i did, i would have so much to answer to...Anyway, my mother let a man abuse me, some people are better off not being born, saves alot of pain. I agree with dragonfly. And judging by the 'Josh' in your name, you dont have a womb, or a maternal instinct, so you will never understand. |

| Your poem is...interesting. After reading the comments, it can be taken differently on different levels. If the girl is too young and knows that she wouldn't be able to care for her child, then I could understand the decision. However, if she's older and just doesn't want to have kids, than she's just a cruel a**hole. So, I guess it all depends on your outlook on it. |

| All these people are entitled to their opinions but i love this poem i think its one of your best because it really takes on a tough issue. Abortion is wrong its murder. The child doesn't have a choice whether it lives or dies that's how it is murder and I know by me saying that we're going to be going around about this issue for awhile but good job because you had the guts to take on a very difficult controversial issue and i don't see any of them doing the same. Keep it up! Love ya! |
