the girl who didn't care, by steppingfaintly Subscribe to rss feed for steppingfaintly

Her mother walked in.
The whole world stopped.
The girl stopped breathing.
She closed her eyes,
Waiting for the explosion to happen.
Her mother just stood there, watching, waiting.
The girl dropped the knife she was holding.
It was a reaction.
She couldn't stand up.
Just sat on the bathroom floor,
Blood dripping from her wrist,
Watching what her mum was to do next.
Speechless. Was all she was.
She stood for what seemed like an eternity.
Like a bomb, waiting and ticking.
Then she dropped the cloths, she was holding.
Ran out. In shock.
The girl gulped. Knew she was in for trouble,
But she didn't care.
Still sat on the floor.
Dripped fresh blood.
She picked up the knife.
She continued.
She didn't care what her mum thought.
It was her that drove her to this anyway.
Her and the girls dad.
It was them...
