For My Uncle, As He Lay There, by ♥ Leah ☺ Subscribe to rss feed for ♥ Leah ☺

As your life is nearing its end,
The funeral arrangements, to me you send.
And as you see that beautiful white light,
You realise that your life was at its most alright.
As the family come to say their last goodbyes,
You let out one of your last tired sighs.
The nurse tells hem all they have to go,
Your skin transforms as white as snow.
And as you sit alone for your final breath,
You drift into the sleep we know as death.
