Life's Path, by Julia Anne Subscribe to rss feed for Julia Anne

Eh, I don't know, I don't really like this one

On life’s path
I fall
And look around
I see groups of people
They are laughing and smiling
Helping each other
I am alone
I cry for help
But no one notices
And no one cares
I am finally able to get back to my feet
But I am exhausted from the journey
That I have been forced to make alone
Having long been without hope, purpose, and friends
I lose my will to go on
My legs give way
I am on the ground yet again
But I do not try to get up
I know I would soon be back on the ground
As people walk around me
Offering no help
It finally sinks in
No one will ever help me
For the world is cruel and uncaring
And so are the people in it
