Mother's Love, by KelseyAnne Subscribe to rss feed for KelseyAnne

There's something moving inside.
A new life. A harder life? A different life.
Self-centered no longer,
A new focus.
A new approach.
No more me. Only us.
To love and to have and to hold.
Screaming in my arms.

Shouldn't be there,
Not in me.
This was never supposed to happen.
Unplanned, unprotected.
Vulnerable, expanding, swelling.

The looks of discust
aimed at a teen mother.
Drive me forward.
"Prove them wrong."
I'll give you a good life.
We'll show them.

Keeping faith...
Harder than ever.

Fine on my own, don't need a man.
You need a father,
but only a mother.

All for you.
Weeks of pain,
Months of uncomfort.
Years of joy.
All for you
With love..
Your unintended mother.
