"Mother's Sunlight" / by Marsha L. VonderBrink, by marsha Subscribe to rss feed for marsha

You never get over losing your mother
I'm a grown woman and I could lay
right down on the floor and
kick my heels and cry!
Ask why? God why?
Why did you take her away from us?
I trust.
I trusted you to keep her from all harm,
heal her heart.
Seal her from all the storms!
I just knew she would stay
forever
being my mama, but you took her to
heaven.
Swept her to your breast,
hugged her to you
which is your right!
After all you did make her,
from your Father's sunlight!
