Aroma of Pages 07-03-09, by Teach2Learn

Voices buzzing and humming
People’s feet busy shuffling
Do they see whats really out there?
No time to absorb the presence in the air
I observe some heads in magazines for agers
As I hear the flicker of books turning pages
Smelling the aroma of crushed coffee beans being brewed
Taking in the atmosphere to improve ones mood
Stop and take a look around
You just might hear a sound
Sit down breathe take time to read
New growth in ones life you may well seed
People leave as their coffee's empty
This store is full of good books a plenty
Today many lonely books they stay
These patiently wait to be read another day. |
