Clear Awakening 28-02-09, by Teach2Learn Subscribe to rss feed for Teach2Learn

What will I find when I awake?
Will my world still appear to be opaque?
When I think of what I wish to see
Is it so unbelievable for me?
Repeated questions of where
The truth to listen do I dare
Dreaming of a safer tomorrow
No more fear of pain and sorrow
Someone wake me for myself to appreciate
To be happy and healthy is my true fate
I’m so exhausted I need to sleep and rest
Understanding however I must awake to do my best
I fight to awaken from my forever sleep
Knowing in my heart this feat is not to steep
It’s not where I’ve been but where I’m going that
matters
Awaking from my bad dream as my past shatters
A deep sadness attempts to pull me back
Stamina and determination the best defence is my attack
Goals are just dreams with out a time stamp
Set the pace inspired I conquer that ascending ramp
Motivated I awaken enlightened
No more will I allow my feelings to be frightened
Of my emotions I wish to be conscious
My future potential I’m ever curious
Out of my long stagnation I arise
Tears freely streaming from my clear eyes
Eyes wide open now I am awake
So consciously aware of what’s at stake
Endless tears washing away and clearing the haze
Sharp presence as I perceive a glint shining out of my
gaze.
Awake I now see me
Believing in all that I am and all that I can be!
