Fire in Me 08-03-09, by Teach2Learn Subscribe to rss feed for Teach2Learn

Emotions encased in fire as they dance
Exploding colour paints my life to enhance
Always seeking fuel to sustain my fire
Careful not to raise the bar even higher
To maintain the fire burning longer
My heart works tirelessly to keep my mind stronger
Sometimes I feel I'm lost in the blaze
Guided by unconditional love for my son always
Three inner elements to tame
Fuel, oxygen and flame
Fuel burns in me igniting my inner glow
Oxygen to breathe as I let my heart show
This flame in me I wish for my mind to control
So as I breathe I won't accidentally burn my soul
Habitual exercise being my burning flame
No longer do I wish to play this emotional game
Blood stained tears flow through my veins
As I control my fire no more do I feel pains?
I wish to live my life in waters calm and cool
Therefore the fire in me will no longer require fuel
Tears stream and flow into my tranquil lake
As I embrace my feelings my heart will no longer ache
Body, heart and soul the only elements I need in me
With this I hold strong to my Integrity.
