How About, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

If I could only break these chains
maybe I'd see another way.
If I could erase all the words
maybe then I wouldn't stay.

Even though you broke me
and I'm fractured and abused,
if I could write the ending,
you'd be the one I'd choose.

I'm looking for another path,
it seems the only thing to do,
I'm tired of all the arrows,
how about you?
But when I turn to face away,
all I can see is shades of blue,
I'm so addicted to colour,
how about you?

If you could only break these chains
maybe you could walk away.
If you could erase the memories
maybe then you wouldn't stay.

Even though I hurt you
and dragged you through my misery,
if you could write the ending,
the one you'd choose is me.

You're looking for another street
but circles are all you see,
you're tired of all the walking,
how about me?
But when you try to say goodbye,
you find it doesn't set you free,
you're so addicted to breathing,
how about me?

But in the end we both know
that we have to just endure
'cause we're stuck on repeat,
we've been here before...

We're looking for another exit
but this way is all we trust,
we're tired of all the crawling,
how about us?
