People come and people go
For all I know they won't stay long
One day they love and comfort me
The next they're strangers out the sea

Some people stay for just an hour
And some they stay for months and years
So well I know that life is sour
I know someday they'll leave me here

Nothing lasts forever more
For all has something else in store
It doesn't matter when or how
But people come and go somehow
