Dinosaur Time, by Patty Bokern Subscribe to rss feed for Patty Bokern

Once Upon a Time,
Long, long ago
There once lived dinosaurs
Wouldn’t you know?

One was gentle
With plates across his back.
He was a plant eater
And that is a fact.

One had a long neck
As stretchy as can be.
That’s so he could eat
Leaves from a tree.

One had three horns
On his head.
He, too, was a plant eater,
Everyone said.

One was a reptile
Who flew in the sky.
He’d swoop low and
Then swoop high.

But the king of dinosaurs
Was a really mean dude.
He ate other dinos
For his food!
