Sidewalk Manchion, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Scarlet wanderings,
crimson reflexes,
blood washed into pores.

Icy reviews
and insufferable
replays.
A sidewalk manchion.
One step out,
10 steps back in.

Prisoner of words.
Cold, cold, damaging
italics.

A diamond fracture
again.
Dirty rainbow promises.
Fingertip goodbyes.
A frequent ache,
unsettled pulse.

Again, again,
again.

  No more
inhaling or exhaling
of dusty syllables.
I can't consume
this poison truth,
these poison lies
  anymore.

There is no doorway,
there is no door.
