FORGIVE ME, by Galway Subscribe to rss feed for Galway

Why is punishment harsh?
Why is punishment mean?
Why can’t everyone,
Just be full and keen?

If clocks could be reversed,
I’d be a happy man,
I’d go back in time,
And change a lot if I can.

I aint happy with things in the past,
It saddens me for reasons that will always last,
I’m annoyed, saddened and always down,
Thinking of what I’ve done always with a frown.

My life is far from complete,
Far from some joy,
I admit when things happened,
I acted like a stupid boy.

Watch my tears,
See my face,
As I run around my house,
At a furious pace.

Please forgive me,
I’ve tried my best,
Until things are sorted,
I’ll never rest.
