neon girl sly, by Mary Magdalene Subscribe to rss feed for Mary Magdalene

the dark will always be
there and all the harm
but she's your charm
as the bitter opens up
the black chasm above
and all around
the lights fall
one by one
in the towers
in the halls
you hold your weapon
dear to you
as she to blue
her silver voice
sing one shimmering note
after another
a seventh, a minor,
as the bright hollows
beside her
inside her
soft like wings
stains like cherry
places a hand upon
your neck
drawing poison from your wounds
warmth within the strife
you know she is your lover
your laughter and
your life
