Reality, by Tyler Pender Subscribe to rss feed for Tyler Pender

Mistakes are the token of regret.
Regret is the rewound mind of emotion,
Pounding the burnt heart with every thought,
While the building of pain, replays in slow motion.

A stomach full of an empty depression
Combines to form the pit of an endless shame.
I am trapped in myself like a disabled mind.
Feasting on memories, while starving my mortal frame.

Long have I thirsted to smile,
But long have I hungered for a reason.
My joyous ways have lost their taste.
Life is now the bitter season.

The burden of a hopeless escape
Trails the will to breathe a new day.
Will death be my exit from this reality,
Or will this pain take on immortality?
