Every thing was fine...
I moved past the hardest part
stupid me, I turned around
and wound up... back at the start

only this time I stand
 more weary and more wore
can I make it again this time?
feeling so sick and sore?

I told you everything
in "past tence" of corse
though it was a good thing
now I feel such remorse

If you just wern't so wonderful
ALL I've ever dreamed
this wouldnt be such a nightmare
I could wake up and be freed

part of me tried to signal
I was getting way too lost
"this isnt real girlfriend"
now I'm paying the cost.

I fell asleep singing
a song of happier days
lovey blue summer skies
with a warm summer haze

then all at once I woke up
bound again in my heart
opened my eyes and found myself
once again back at the start...
