Pondering, by Dark Neko Subscribe to rss feed for Dark Neko

As I reached to grab my pen,
Pondering what to write.
Of the sun that rules the day,
Or the moon that rules the night.

Perhaps I'd write of the sea
And the millions of things therein,
Or the finals of the game
And the champion that did win.

Maybe I'd write of virtues,
Such as love, joy, and peace.
Or rather darker things
Of ghostly souls that bleed.

Nature giving fresh life,
A bright new blooming flower.
Possibly a hero fighting evil
With wisdom, speed, and power.

I sat back in my chair
Tightly closing my eyes,
I placed my pen back down;
Then my mind began to cry:

"Too many things to write,
Oh, why can't I just choose?
It's not like it's really that hard!"
My mind continued to muse

Then my eyes burst open with brightness!
Knowing this was right!
I quickly grabbed my pen,
I knew exactly what to write!
