There's Someone Else, by a rose by any otha name Subscribe to rss feed for a rose by any otha name

You know your heart doesn't reside with me,
It's still beating in the hands of someone else,
Your love for her was deep and strong,
But she only had games to remedy your health,
You had nothing but yourself to give her,
She was too busy giving it up to someone else,
So now you try to fill the holes she left,
With the love from my self,
You think you found the remedy buried within my thighs,
Didn't you know you can't heal yourself,
By screwing someone else,
You use me to invoke jer jealousy,
Try to make her see what she lost to someone else,
I see the game but choose not to tell,
I'm just a trophy hanging from your chain,
Reality is you could never have her to yourself,
She was never yours to gain,
You try to fool me with the facade of confidence,
Built around like a shield,
But you can't fool me with pretty looks,
I read in between the lines,
I have the patience to hold your hand,
Walk to the past and back again,
But if you couldn't tell my love for you is unparalleled,
I should leave and stop compromising myself,
Yet you truthfully don't hear me,
I'm probably talking for my health,
You see me as the revenge,
But id you think you can change her,
You're wrong, no one will change but yourself,
