Death's Merciful Hand, by ash Subscribe to rss feed for ash

The sky becomes dark,
The pain unbearable,
The screams painful,
As he is torn down in his prime,
In a foreign land he knows nothing of.
He weeps for the wife that shall not have the chance to grow
old with her husband, for the daughter whos' farther will
never walk her down the aisle, for the son who will never
play catch with his farther again, for the mother who will
have to bury her son, for the men lying around him,the men
providing voices to the screams.
He weeps for himself, a dying man alone, a man without his
family.
And with time, death's merciful hand comes.
To put an end to the darkness,
The pain,
The screams,
The blood.
To put an end to the weeping.
To put an end to the lonlyness that consumes him.
