This Mess, by Lovely Subscribe to rss feed for Lovely

I lay unclothed, in a mangle of this mess,
What happened to the lies, they were my only dress,
A dress that fit so close to my heart,
But you came away and tore it apart.
Truth uncovered, a pure beauty awakes,
All evil draped away, lets lower the stakes,
Less to fall apart, less to lose,
More to hate and a lot more to choose,
Falling upon sweet petals of red,
I remember every word you had to of said,
The dark of night stunk of beer,
Never a harsh word anyone would hear,
A changing of seasons, one swift move,
Would tear apart every groove,
A selected pattern of this shy night,
It was only a chance, a maybe, a might,
All eyes turned toward us two,
But you're just a man, its all about you.
