Standing in the doorway looking out I hear a voice call,
what is it about?
Step into darkness and begin fight, driven by rage on my way
to the light.
My eyes so focused and filled with fire. I will never give
up I will never tire.
Outnumbered it seems and surrounded, sense the danger and
the alarm is sounded.
My body grows tense I am about to erupt. No matter my
actions I will not become corrupt.
I clench my fist and crack my knuckles, stare my enemy down
until his legs buckle.
Seeing my options and planning my attack, I'm well on my
way, theres no turning back.
The demon awakens the animal roars, my energy rises as my
punches soar.
No stopping me now, I'm on the go, knocking down obstacles
and toppling my foe.
I hesitate for a moment to glance at the past, remembering
the stone that once was cast.
The journey is long and filled with pain. Many sacrafices
were made, but none in vain.
The dark grows lighter so my anticipation rises, the road
gets shorter but filled with more surprises.
Tattered and torn as I reach for the finish, think I have
arrived therefore my energy diminished.
Let my gaurd down , my journey has conclusion. I think I
can rest, no wait, it's only an illusion.
I snap back up and look around, too late, as I fall to the
ground.
Rise to my feet and open my eyes, searching for those who
want my demise.
Seen my attacker, his cover is blown. Slip back into my
world of darkness and unknown.
Sliver like a fish and come around to his rear. I'm not
making a sound there is no chance he will hear.
Anger takes over, I'm mad enough to kill. Death on my mind,
his blood will spill.
Out of the darkness and into harm's way, discover his
identity to much dismay.
Face to face with the person who causes me strife. I'm
realizing he has been there my whole life.
Stare into his eyes as blue as can be, my fears have come
true, I'm looking at me.
