a hard working woman
goes to her job
working her days away
to support her kids
a single mother
fatherless children
she works for the money
to keep their home
she lives for her children
she works for the pay
she wishes for all the things
she once had
before the fatal day
she provides as best as she can
for she wishes her children
to have the future she never did
to have the life she desperatly wishes she had lived
she hears her children cry at night
she comforts them as best she can
but the truth is their fathers gone
never to be seen or heard again
he passed away as the moon shone
when a car bumped into him and drove off home
