Sacrifice happiness... 12/31/2005, by Stilltraveler Subscribe to rss feed for Stilltraveler

Whispered gut, a sense within a realization of my rut.

Our happiness prolonged so tightly would be wrong only for
my ghostly heart.

Lost within our fantasy of bliss and I almost missed the
signs.

I don't want to be the one who drags you down or drowns
you.

The love is strong and has strengthened our spiritual bond.

To continue as friends is the true blessing better than
ending as foes.

Here is to fortunes untold and a story not fully unfolded.

With love from an ol’ dog to my young tiger eyes.
