Cancerous Winter, by Lifesangel Subscribe to rss feed for Lifesangel

Cancerous winter ravages trees like your body
The disease spreads through the air as if in blood
Torrent rain re-enact heavy flowing tears
Puddles reflect on present life
Swollen river banks resemble bodily retention
Bitter cold makes feelings so numb
Never before has winter felt so sad
Hibernation of thoughts will carry us through
‘Til a new dawn breaks mourning in spring
The pain captured within last season
May a new life of hope begin.
