Puppy, by Ivy Jordan Subscribe to rss feed for Ivy Jordan

A wonderful present handed to me?
Present for my sister, not me?
I guess it’s always this way
To always receive gifts
From someone who else?

I took a peek at the cage
A puppy! I exclaimed
I shouted in surprise and express my joy
I never gaze upon such a puppy so coy

My spirits somehow opened my eyes
To a wonderful new meaning of life
A puppy I would truly love
I am so thankful of a gift blessed from above.
