Death by love

You left me here, broken hearted.
How do I start again?
Or do I lay here in blood and debris?
Waiting for you to save me.
Can’t move on with living,
When it feels so much like dying.
So take my corpselike frame out of this place.
Bury me under fallen autumn leaves.
In the cold ground I will rot and decay,
When the wicked snow comes to smother everything.
No one will ever know I’m here.
Laying with no pulse nor breath but wide open eyes.
You will come see me in the spring, but please don’t
weep.
Say an empty prayer, leave flowers at my feet.
And if you do know my eyes have cried so many more tears for
you.
