That which once held me is no more
No more is that which once held me
I am free
Free from his lies
Free from his deception
Free from his shadow
The shadow of power
Power over my emotions
For I gave back to him
An overview of what he gave to me
I think it did not settle well with him
I hope it makes his stomach churn
It did to me for a year
And after a year
I am free.
