The Red, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Shimmering shadows,
twisted ‘maybe’s,
inside out,
visit the creases in my pillow.

Tossed through the window,
(the panes never broken),
were outlines that spoke to me,
sung to me…
hushed.

You pulled corners from the curves
and asked me to breathe
but I only saw
the red.
