Girlish Daydreams Crosses To Night

Sitting on my bed Staring at the wall above my computer Where a fangirl's dream stares At someplace near the corner Look to my right And have a picture even better than the first Staring back at me Eyes following wherever I go In my room Lay back on the open futon Look up at a sideways Jolly Roger That hovers above me as I sleep at night Turn out the lights Look to the corner See my skull glowing Reminding me of The Jolly Roger Which reminds me of The picture above my computer Of the pirate I want to come And kidnap me in a raid on East Lansing Which reminds me of The picture on the wall Whose eyes follow me What I wouldn't give For the one who owns those eyes To show up at my door With his kids But no girl And ask to come in So the kids would have someplace to play And we could sit on the sofa Watch TV and the kids And I could dreamily doze off Leaning against him
